We are looking for a committed high performer who will join our team for the position of Business Development Manager.
The role of this person is to individually drive DataWalk sales into the public & commercial sector in Poland. Although the Business Development Manager will be working mainly with channel resellers, a comprehensive sales skillset is needed. This person should be self-driven and proactive, someone who can build personal relationships with resellers’ representatives, inspire them to sell DataWalk and comprehensively support their efforts, both from a business development and sales perspective. This is an individual contributor position and requires a high-level technical background.
The Development Manager should be a well-organized hard-worker and team-player, who is not reluctant to run the complete sales process, including generating new leads using networking and events, delivering quality presentations, bidding, negotiating, contract management and closing. This type of work is goal-oriented, may require irregular working hours according to business needs. Old-fashioned lead generation (e.g., telemarketing) is not expected. In 1-2 years future work with foreign customers and partners is expected.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tech-sales person with experience selling software and analytics (preferably fraud/crime/AML detection, or at least interested in such topics). We are looking for person who be able to easily discuss functional aspects of DataWalk, provide product demos directly to customers, and demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in our domain areas (tech-selling).
Proactive business development using existing customer and partner base and other opportunities (conferences, events, other contacts);
Comprehensive management of the sales process with focus on the Polish commercial and public markets: meetings, presentations, product demos, customer Q&A, offer preparation, formal RFP process management, negotiations, management of legal aspects, closing, reference creation, upsell);
Comprehensive cooperation with partners, running sales processes in consortiums;
Participation in public events, formal presentations, informal meetings;
Business plan creation - development plans for public market in Poland, revenue plans;
Close cooperation with marketing department on use cases/applications development; customer feedback management;
Preparation of sales and marketing materials (product briefs, solution summaries).
Openness for operating on different markets in the future, also outside Poland (optional for the future);
Tech sales: ability to present the solution (live demo), discuss high-level functional and technical differentiators, use case definition;
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of work in Business Intelligence, Analytics and/or Data Warehousing;
Minimum 3 years in sales/business development with proven track record;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including selling to C-level;
Proven ability of tech-sale (product live demos, basic technical discussions);
Independence in everyday work, self-managing;
Excellent soft technical and presentation skills;
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
Experience with sales techniques and tools;
Seamless written and spoken English, especially business/IT;
Nice to have:
Experience in selling to public sector in Poland;
Experience with Fraud/Crime/AML analytics;
