DataWalk is seeking an Architecture and Solutions Consulting Lead to steer our technical field operations and mentor a talented team of Field Architects and Solutions Consultants. This hybrid leadership role combines strategic talent development with technical stewardship – setting architecture standards, driving technical strategy during pre-sales, and guaranteeing execution excellence during post-sales deployment for mission-critical enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Field Architects/Solution Consultants; oversee workload and resource allocation across pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
• Drive pre-sales technical execution by guiding the team in delivering custom demos and proofs-of-concept.
• Guide the team in anticipating client needs and formulating scalable analytical solution architectures.
• Oversee team contributions to RFIs/RFPs, Statements of Work, and technical validation strategies.
• Set technical standards and design best practices, and act as the escalation point for complex, enterprise-scale design challenges.
• Partner across the organization to align team skills with strategic goals, translating priorities into project deliverables.
• Establish reference architectures and steer the design of fit-for-purpose, cutting-edge graph analytics solutions across end-to-end stacks.
• Drive technical excellence and benchmarking standards across the team, serving as an executive escalation point for complex technical challenges.
• Present DataWalk to C-level executives, identify portfolio-level risks, and codify best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or equivalent; 10+ years in Analytics, Data Warehousing, SaaS, AI, or Big Data.
• 5+ years in Solutions Architecture / Pre-Sales, including 3+ years directly leading, coaching, and scaling technical field teams.
• Advanced data analysis, cleaning, and augmentation skills, and experience with MPPs.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, complex network configurations, Kubernetes, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Strong presentation/communication skills; self-driven, intellectually curious, and comfortable owning team outcomes.
• Experience in a startup (<100 people); ability to obtain and maintain an active clearance.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Graph Analytics and Knowledge Graphs.
• Proven track record of building/scaling a technical team from scratch.
• Background in public speaking or industry thought leadership.
