LINK4 Selects DataWalk To Combat Insurance Fraud

Wroclaw, Poland

July 1, 2020

DataWalk, a Polish high-tech company which provides the industry’s most advanced data analysis software for insurance fraud, law enforcement and other applications, today announced that LINK4 will be adopting DataWalk software as their next-generation solution to detect and investigate insurance fraud.

LINK4, the leader of the direct insurance market in Poland, made their selection after an extensive competitive evaluation of offers. By enabling easy, iterative tuning of rules and scores, DataWalk software was able to deliver superior results.

"Insurance companies operate on the basis of solidarity and mutual trust. Attempts at extorting damages undermine these principles and in the long run affect the solvency of insurers. The solution we chose already at the operational assessment stage achieved high efficiency in the automatic identification of suspicious claims," explains Marek Wasilewski, director of the Loss Division at LINK4.

DataWalk enables LINK4 to have a single integrated view of all desired data; leverage all of this data in their fraud detection processes; and implement a more efficient and effective workflow for detecting, investigating, and managing suspicious claims.

“For most insurance companies, getting to 10% false positives with their fraud detection system is only a dream,” said Pawel Wieczynski, CEO of DataWalk S.A. “DataWalk’s unique technology and unique approach make it possible for companies like LINK4 to quickly achieve phenomenal results.”

LINK4 is the latest Polish insurance company to select DataWalk, in addition to international customers including the Czech market leader Kooperativa (subsidiary of the Vienna Insurance Group), and Turkey’s HDI Sigorta.
