DataWalk Included In $500M Data Analytics Solutions and Services BPA At The United States Department of Justice

Redwood City, California
June 6, 2019

Dramatically expands DataWalk access to one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated law enforcement agencies

DataWalk partner Research Innovations Incorporated (RII) has been selected as one of several prime contractors by the Justice Management Division (JMD) to provide data analytics and analysis solutions for the US Department of Justice (DOJ). DOJ estimates that it will purchase $500 million in solutions and services over the five-year term of this Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). DataWalk represents a key member of the RII solution team as it provides a robust Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) analytical platform for DOJ operations.

A key set of metrics for successful deployments across all the DOJ components is being agile, adaptable, and economical. The RII team can deploy DataWalk’s platform for enterprise analytical capabilities or specific investigative projects without creating proprietary or “one-off” systems. DataWalk’s role is aligned to ensure the RII team meets all DOJ requirements while delivering high-quality analytical software capabilities.

“We are proud to be part of this exceptional team offering solutions to one of the largest customers in the United States Government,” said Gabe Gotthard, DataWalk CEO. “Our inclusion in this team reflects that DataWalk is a world-class analysis platform suitable for addressing critical problems and supporting investigations throughout the DOJ.”

The Research Innovations (RII) Team will apply its mission-driven analytic methodology, Search and Investigative Flexible Toolkit (SIFT)TM and an extensive team of experts to support complex DOJ investigations requiring the analysis of large volumes of data and information.

“The RII Team has proven expertise in deploying SIFT’s leading edge technologies in the law enforcement, military, intelligence, financial services, insurance, legal and healthcare environments,” said Ellen Minderman, RII’s VP of Special Programs and Operations. “RII is proud to offer DOJ the combined capabilities and services of RII, Eastport Analytics, BreakForth Solutions, DataWalk, SAP National Security Services (NS2), The Ryan Group, Accenture Federal Services (AFS), Axiologic Solutions, Digital Reasoning, Ernst & Young, IMTAS, ManTech, Raptics, and Text IQ”.
