Sales Manager

Work model: remote & travelling (approximately up to 50% travel required for this role).

We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across the key regions of North America. 

This role, based in North America (East Coast), will be central to driving significant revenue growth, optimizing our sales strategies, and growing our sales organization to support the company's ambitious growth objectives.

The Company offers the DataWalk Platform primarily to large Financial customers (Fortune 500 types) and to Major Government institutions in North America.

As Sales Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the performance of our sales teams in the North America markets. You will be a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the company's broader strategy and ensuring tight alignment between sales and other functions.

 
 

Responsibilities: 

  • Drive Sales Strategy: Develop and implement clear and effective sales strategies and plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets across both the North America regions.
  • Lead and Develop Sales Teams: Manage, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of individual contributors, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and impact.
  • Expand Market Reach and Revenue: Identify and pursue new market opportunities within North America to grow DataWalk's customer base and market share.
  • Manage Key Customer Relationships: Oversee and actively engage in the development of key strategic accounts, ensuring strong, long-term partnerships and maximizing revenue potential.
  • Provide Sales Forecasts and Reports: Establish reliable sales forecasting processes and deliver regular reports on sales performance, pipeline development, and market trends to the executive team.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with Field Engineering and Consulting, Marketing, Product, Customer Support, and other teams to ensure alignment and optimize the overall customer experience.
  • Analyze Performance and Drive Improvement: Define and track key sales performance metrics, analyze results, and implement data-driven strategies to improve sales effectiveness.
 
 

Requirements:

  • Significant experience leading sales teams in a B2B software environment, with a strong track record of managing sales in North America.
    • Experience in leading sales in the commercial market, focused on Fortune500 companies and preferably Financial Markets is a must.
    •  Willingness to be hands-on in the field and actively engage in key deal cycles while simultaneously developing strategy and team capabilities.
  • A solid understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and methodologies. 
  • Experience in direct selling enterprise products (not services): data analytics, intelligence, or related solutions (i.e. Data Warehousing) as a software vendor (not integrator).
  • Proven success in achieving substantial revenue growth and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in building and scaling successful sales organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.  
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Demonstrated process management skill, ie.funnel management, sales process management, metrics tracking etc.
  • Based in North America, ideally on the East Coast (New York or Virginia).
  • Willingness to travel within North America, and to Poland, on a regular basis.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience in driving major Government/Federal/Civilian Sales.
  • Experience with Graph Analytics, Generative AI (GenAI), and/or investigative software.
  • Technical background (and/or relevant technical education).
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related technical field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
